This year there is the 45th Anniversary of Umbria Jazz! As always, the event is held in Perugia, from 13 until 22.7.2018.
Launched in 1973, Umbria Jazz is today one of the most important jazz events in the world which has hosted the greatest modern jazz musicians.
The show takes place in the historic center of Perugia and lasts ten days, from morning to evening, among its old palaces are held countless concerts.
The artistic choices are divided into two strands: on the one hand the traditional jazz and on the other the black music, with various encroachments in pop-rock, for a general public.
During these days Perugia becomes a meeting place for tens of thousands of young people, and not only them, from all over the world.
